If you feel that you have a vehicle weight issue within your fleet of vehicles we can offer you a no obligation fleet survey (see below) to advise you of the correct specification of on-vehicle weighing system to suit the vehicle and application. An axle load indicator is the most cost effective solution where overloading is the issue. There are however instances where off-road use or system accuracy are an issue and we will advise appropriately of the best system to meet your needs. Fleet Survey
If you are not sure if you have a vehicle weight issue we can offer an on-site survey to assess the weight of your vehicles and produce a report to support any findings. This will help add qualification to a decision required for capital expenditure or not as the case may be. Typically we would require an unannounced visit from one of our trained staff to perform a number of sample weighings, this is usually enough to tell if there is an issue or not. There are some cases however (such as diminishing load syndrome) where although the vehicle is correctly loaded upon leaving a depot it can become overloaded during the working day. Particularly where a part load is removed from the vehicle that in turn could effect the vehicle's weight distribution, removing a part load from a previously correctly loaded vehicle can suddenly cause an axle overload condition.
