Stainless Steel Loadcells
For high salt environments, such as those encountered with Gritting vehicles, Red Forge can supply Stainless Steel loadcell solutions that do not degrade within harsh environments. Many of the Gritter manufacturers already use Red Forge Stainless cells - please ask for more information.
Up-and-a-Weigh
For use on Roll On/Off container vehicles, the Red Forge Up-and-a-Weigh system uses specially constructed loadcells that lift the container to weigh it before locking in place, removing the damage that can be caused to regular loadcells during the loading process. These systems can be Certified for Pay-by-Weight applications, at additional cost.
Tail Lifts
Systems can be made bespoke for weighing a load on a Tail Lift during the lifting process. This is a system that has been designed in conjunction with DEL Lifters, and more information is available upon request.
Skip Vehicles
Systems for skip vehicles can be produced that weigh the skip, using loadcells mounted within the hinge arms. This allows a driver to check and weigh the skip before it is loaded onto the vehicle. Standard underbody systems can also be supplied for these vehicle types.
Weighpads
Red Forge use the Loadranger weighpad system for all of our On-site recalibration and maintenance work. We find that these weighpads are overall the best value for money, being both accurate and durable. Supply of these weighpads is available in sets of 2 or 4.
External Display Mounting
Red Forge can mount their display in a Waterproof box, for mounting on the exterior of the vehicle. This is particularly useful where a driver loads from a rear mounted crane or similar setup.
